parki ar minda, parki minda
Ironically, Georgian word parki means a plastic bag and a park.
Now in every shop you can hear a question at the cash desk:
“parki gnebavt?” (do you want a bag?).
Statistics shows, that in average one person in Georgia uses 525 plastic bags a year while,
for example, in Finland this number is cut to just 4.
Say “parki ar minda” at the cash desk before you are given a single use bag.
Bring your own reusable shoppers and produce bags and reduce your plastic consumption.
